Confession of Faith     
Leader: We believe in God's reignpast, present, and future.

Church Council invites all adults and teens to join in a one hour discussion of Pastor Joel's vision for our congregational life and
ministry over the next 5 years, on Sunday, November 15 immediately following church. We ask that all make an effort to attend this meeting. Please bring a brown bag lunch. Dessert and child care will be provided. Additional information to help prepare for this meeting will be sent out via email in November.

Let's talk turkey! Sunday, November 22 will be our annual CMF Thanksgiving meal after services. Please sign up to bring your item(s) of choice for the meal using the signup sheet provided in the foyer by the mail folders. We kindly request that any food item being brought for the meal to be already cooked, warmed, and ready to serve! Thank you.

As part of CMF's Thanksgiving Sunday Offering, all are encouraged to bring canned goods for the Oakley Food Pantry. will bring our canned goods forward during the time of Offering.

This year's Oakley Community Thanksgiving service will be at 7:00pm on Wednesday, November 25. It will be held at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, 3105 Madison Road, and just a few blocks from the CMF church building. As part of the service, a special offering will be taken up that will go toward the Oakley Community Food Pantry. All are welcome to attend.

MUSE - Cincinnati Women's Choir is having its second in a series of two concerts today, November 15 at St. John's Unitarian Church in Clifton. Please see the poster in the foyer, MUSE's website or talk to Naomi, Judy H. or Abbie for more information. www.musechoir.org 

Mary and Rod S. would like to invite all to a recital they are giving of voice/guitar music. The program will include a brand new work, just premiered this past September, entitled "A R ing of Birds" by Minnesota composer Jeffery Van. is a guitarist who has written a lot for mixed chorus. on the program is music of Schubert and some light Italian early 19th century songs. recital will close with a wonderful setting of three poems of Federico Garcia Lorca. There will be two performances. The first performance is today , Sunday, Nov. 15, 3 pm, at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, 2944 Erie Ave in Hyde Park (513)321 - 6700. The second performance is at CCM in the Werner Recital Hall, Monday, Nov. 23, 8 pm.

Christine S. and Hal H. would like to invite those who are free on Thanksgiving to share a potluck meal at their home. They have asked that you please contact them by Sunday, November 22, if you plan to join them. 

The November Healthcare Access Task Force fitness activity will be a hike through the Cincinnati Zoo during the Festival of Lights. We will plan to meet Sunday, November 29, at 5:30pm at the main zoo entrance. Admission is free with zoo membership, or $13.00 per adult, and $9.00 per child or senior (2 - 12, 62+). Book Club will meet on Sunday, December 6 after church at Suzanne Johnson's home, 5055 Bristol Court in Loveland.The book to be discussed is the "The Sunday Wife" by Cassandra King. Lunch will be served.



Since 1991, City Gospel Mission has coordinated the efforts of churches, organizations, and individuals throughout Cincinnati to create The CHRISTmas Store to give parents, who could not otherwise do so, the chance to provide Christmas presents at a price they can afford. Requested donations this year include :
1) new toys valued $10 - $30 (for infants to teenagers)
2) upper body clothing valued $20 - $30 (infant to adult sizes)
3) wrapping paper, tissue, tape, and boxes (to help wrap over 2100 gifts)
4)       cashto buy hams for each family and toys/clothing not donated

The people of the Argentine Chaco are used to getting along with little water, but this year the drought is severe. Pray for rain and for the health of people who are obliged to use unclean water for their daily needs.
